Dear Rob,

welcome at the Big Game Fishing Board. I´m glad to greet someone from Singapore here, who can enrich our knowledge about fishing in that (for us) unknown waters.
I visited your website. There are a lot of good photos.
Where do you fish? I know, in Asia a lot of people are excellent experts in popping and jigging.
Maybe, you can share your experience with us.

Kind regards,

Uwe

Hi Uwe,

Thank you for the kind greetings and greetings to you and all in this forum. Am also glad to know anglers in Europe.

Here in Singapore we do not have any good sportfishing grounds. So we turn to our neighbour, West malaysia and I do most of my sportfishing for Sailfish, Marlin, dorado..etc in Kuala Rompin, Pahang,West Malaysia.

I am no expert or pro..just spend alot of fishing time popping and jigging. I just started Popping for Sailfish last season and got quite a lot of anglers intrested in it. These guys are coming back again this season to add more Sailfish on popping under their belts. I am also learning from every trip and personally, i think no 2 trips are the same.

In Asia, popping and jigging is popular here and it has taken the angling world by storm. Lots of anglers are doing this worldwide and everywhere there is bound to be a topic on popping and jigging.

As you can see from the pics. in my humble webby, i fish with anglers from different parts of the world and have gained vital knowledge from all of them.

Sorry, i do not know how to attach pics. here. So i use the link to my webby to show the pics.( Maybe you can give me a few pointers on this issue, thanks)

From August till November, more Sailfish will appear and that's where all the action will take place.

Please feel free to ask questions and I'll try my best to answer them.

Tightlines one and all.

Rob
