Light Tackle Artificial Angling

Dear Big Game Board friends,

I´m very proud to present you one more high quality tutorial in our database. This time, the tutorial is from South Africa from a very friendly and experienced fisherman named Neil Gouws. I found it in the forum sealine (a wonderful forum).

And now we present you the tutorial

BIG Neil on Light Tackle - Angola Cuberas (local name: Pargo)

Hi Neil,

thats one comprehensive work. What I like best: Its written in simple
English, Teutonia-proof, and it goes into the details few admit they
always wanted to ask, but would want to be seen as greenhorns.

I see myself in your text, wading through the crocodile infested
Rio Longa mouth (200km South of Luanda where I live) casting
a 40grams jig at idunnowhatisinthereinfirstplace... and
rumps goes the third cast directly into a 5kgs Cubera canines...

Ever since all my coffee grinders are loaded with Crystal Fireline.

Must have been the tides though, because next three visits I just
cast 1.000 times and experimented with poppers, shads and irons
in vain.

Then one other morning around 07h45 all fell into place. Cuberas 3.5,
6 and just shy of 10kgs ripped my shoulder out of the socket. A larger
one got away as usual... :S

Unbelievable power that animal and even better taste 8o 8o 8o .

Anxiously awaiting your next tutorial on species to expect and
influence of tides and structure.

Your fidel follower, Jan "Pargo" MAN

Bons ventos e boa pesca. Mui cordialmente,

Glad to hear that you guys are enjoying reading it ... !

There really is no harder and rewarding way of fishing (in my small mind)

You guys can translate, colour and do anything else you want, the more anglers that can be helped the better, that's the whole idea behind the article

Many thanks neilg. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of fishermen like you. In sealine.co.za are very good guys and my respekt to you, reefman and so on. Without people like you no forum could exist. Here we have too some guys who hold this forum swimming ;) I think everyone knows who.

Many thanks to all
Uwe
